Yup, I tried fixing the permissions, says the group was 0 instead of 80. After that and I reboot same thing :mad:

Well, I don't know about the calendar syncing, but the best Verizon feature phone is the LG enV3.
Unfortunately there does not seem to be a good way to sync most LG phones with a mac computer. The only thing I have come across is Bit Pim and its reviews are pretty spotty.

Is there a free alternative Google Voice app other than the Google Voice itself? Reason I ask is because the app is not native to the iPad so it runs at the iPhone resolution.

Another vote for the M-Audio Oxygen series. I had a Oxygen 49 that was quite good... best part is you can pick them up used for less than $100 (in Canada!).

The source material is analogue.

My uncle works for a company that sells dental implants (nasty stuff!) and feels that the bleaching degrades the dentin significantly. I've checked around with a few people at my company (we sell dental products to dentists) and there is no consensus as to whether it is damaging or not.
Unless you can find some studies by the ADA or another organisation, I would not try anything too extreme.

I don't think it's WireTap that's the problem.
i think iTunes wants to burn an MP3 CD if longer than standard audio, but since you encoded in AAC you have to convert the tracks to MP3 first, then burn to MP3 CD.
Select MP3 encoding under prefs first, then select tracks and under Advanced menu, select "Convert Selection to MP3"

so how could that be achieved? you think automator can do such a thing?
I'm just a designer, this is the wrong forum for this question although it's been helpful in defining what it is you're trying to achieve. I would create a new thread in the OS X or perhaps the App forum that's specifically to do with the scripting needed to parse your text file and produce new files based on those entries. Once you've got a bunch of files with the correct names that Photoshop can open and batch process to the required format, the rest is a cakewalk.
PDFs might be valuable in the process because you can natively produce them within OS X from text files and then also open them with Photoshop to convert them to what you need.

Many years ago I did things like that with CGIs and Perl. I just did a quick search and found this page: http://www.hawkwings.net/plugins.htm
It looks like you can script Mail with AppleScript. Take a look at the extensive list. There might be just what you need there. Or you might find something close that can be modified to do the job.

I have installed Windows through bootcamp on my Mac. Is there any way to "ask" what disk to start up on so I don't have to hold the option key.

Hit the "Capture Now" button, end your capture with "esc.".
It should ask you to name the clip.
You could always "Import" the "Media" folder of iMovie captures too - I primarily use this when I'm capturing analog video that lacks a timecode that FCX can use.
